Robyn Rihanna Fenty popularly known as Rihanna is an Barbadian musician and singer who has given us hits like Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. Still in her prime, Rihanna has become one of music's most popular artist. Her parents hail from Barbados She began singing at a young age. In order to escape the tensions in her family, as well as her parents' constant fights, she started singing. In high school when she started forming a band and auditioned for Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was amazed by her talents. In order to earn an income as a professional singer, Rodgers asked her to relocate to New York. Rihanna made her debut album, and was an instant hit. The songs that were aplenty of foot tapping became the hot favorites of young people, causing her to get into film too. Talented and young, Rihanna has been viewed as a teenager-idol, and a fashion idol. Rihanna uses her fame for good and actively supports several charities.
